Making Concatenated volume

To create a concatenated Volume:

# vxassist –g datadg make datavol 10g

If an /etc/default/vxassist file exists with a different default layout, use:

# vxassist –g datadg make datavol 10g layout=nostripe

To create a concatenated volume on specific disks:

# vxassist –g datadg make datavol 10g datadg02 datadg03

id17ux5dev# vxassist -g testdg make testvol 500m disk01
id17ux5dev# vxprint testvol
Disk group: testdg
